First-Time Sign-Up Points Campaign

Earn Rakuten Points the first time you sign up for the Rakuten Saikyo Plan — with a larger reward for switching from another carrier (MNP).

How to qualify

  1. Enter the campaign: Enter via the official campaign page in the same month as (or before) your application. Entry after applying does not qualify.
  2. Sign up for the Rakuten Saikyo Plan: Apply as a first-time Rakuten Mobile user. Choose MNP (keep your number) for the higher 10,000-point reward.
  3. Activate and make a Rakuten Link call: Activate your line and make a qualifying call of at least 10 seconds using the Rakuten Link app. This must be done by 23:59 on the last day of the month following your application month.

Eligibility

  • First-time Rakuten Mobile applicants only
  • MNP transfer from another carrier required for the 10,000-point tier
  • Entry must be completed before or in the same month as application
  • Rakuten Link app call required by the deadline
  • Data-only (SIM) plan variants are excluded

Important notes

  • Points are Rakuten limited-time points, valid for roughly 3 months after they are granted.
  • Points are paid in instalments, not a lump sum. MNP rewards are split across 3 payments (3,000 + 3,000 + 4,000 points); new sign-up rewards across 5 payments (1,000 + 1,000 + 1,000 + 2,000 + 2,000 points).
  • Calls to toll-free, premium-rate, and special-dial numbers (e.g. 0570, 188) do not count as qualifying Rakuten Link calls.
